Information on symbolism and Loki himself!

☼Loki is a god in Norse mythology who is often simply described as the ‘trickster’ god for his love of playing pranks on both his fellow gods and his or their opponents. He is the son of the giant Fárbauti and the goddess Laufey, and he has two brothers, Helblindi and Býleistr. He is also the father of many monstrous children, such as the wolf Fenrir, the serpent Jormungand, and the goddess of death Hel. Loki has the ability to change his shape and sex, and he can transform into any animal or object. He is also very cunning and persuasive, and he can lie and deceive with ease. He is often depicted as having red hair and a mischievous smile.

☼ The lines underneath the eyes are actually Loki's name written out in Runes, which is the Germanic alphabet or Runic alphabet. Runes are also used for divination and as a means of contacting other planes of existence {Like tarot cards, and pendulums}.

☼The symbol in between the eyes is Ouroboros. It is believed that the mighty serpent Jormungandr, one of the offspring of God Loki, encircles the world, forming an eternal loop of existence. Within the context of Norse cosmology, Ouroboros represents the eternal struggle between order and chaos, creation and destruction.

☼ Color symbolism is also a thing in Norse mythology. in this makeup I have the colors that are associated with the god Loki. Gold, the light of the sun and spiritual light shining from Asgardhr, a symbol of reputation, honor, and the power in all realms. Red, magical might and main, protective power, spiritual life and vigor, aggressive force. Green, organic life, the manifested force of fertility in the earth and in the sea, a sign of earth and nature, passage between worlds. Black, new beginning (as night and winter herald the birth of day and summer), all potential, the root of all things, knowledge of hidden things, concealment, and the container of light.
